Pivoting tools and key assemblies move around the screw barrel. The threaded connection needs to stay secure.
Some metal-to-metal screws require blue LOCTITE threadlocker to resist loosening during use.
- Apply a small amount to clean, engaged threads where required for the assembly.
- Keep pivot surfaces, washers and O-rings free of threadlocker.
- Check free movement and follow the threadlocker's curing instructions.
